The Ex-DG of CRSPHCDA Dr Betta Edu has sent her congratulatory message to Hon Eteng Williams the speaker of the CRS 9TH ASSEMBLY and every other member of the House Of Assembly. She expressed satisfaction on how the house members went with the election of their leaders as that shows how united, mature, and great they all are.
She went on to encourage the speaker to work round the clock to ensure that he beats the outstanding records that the immediate past speaker Hon John Gaul Lebo has already set. Her words " Hon Eteng has got a lot of work to do in the 9th Assembly not for any reason but because he took over from a vibrant, hard working, intelligent, and dedicated man like Hon John Gaul Lebo who did extremely well by transforming the 8th CRS House Of Assembly. He needs to keep the house united as always, work hand in hand with the Capacity Digital Governor to enable Cross Riverians achieve their expected results. They were very important and captivating bills that were left unattended to as a result of time so I'll advice he starts from there."
"The arm of government (Legislature) he's heading must harmoniously operate with the other two arms of government (Executive and Judiciary) to achieve success and as such he will have to create that synergy, and always be in tandem with each other to make it more easier for the expected results."
She went on to charge other house leaders and members to give Hon Eteng all the necessary support he needs to work with his team to make history. "As a house member representing your constituency you don't need to forget why you're in the house, you need to support and work alongside the leadership of the house as well as the other arms of government just for the purpose of spelling success. Cross Riverians are looking up to you all and I know you'll not fail us because I see in you all great capacity and that burning desire to take Cross River State to the expected level. For this to be conveniently achieved, the House of Assembly will have to key into the wonderful political ideas, industrialization drive and visions of Sen Ben Ayade who is bent on taking Cross River to that dream land.
