The University of Calabar students Union Government has bestowed 2018 Award of Honour to Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams, in recognition of his outstanding contributions towards the growth and development of University of Calabar students Welfare and Capacity Development.
Speaking on students welfare contributions and human development, the director of welfare Comr. Bassey Cardinal Ofem Said Unical students are proud to bestow this honour on Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams for his Achievements at Cross River House of Assembly.
" Several others have visited Unical students but the welfare of the students were neglected, you have a positive impression on the students and we are very excited and proud to identify with you".
Responding to the Honour, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams said" I never knew I was being noticed for my little contributions always to the students welfare. I was only doing my best to serve humanity and to mentor young generations. I am overwhelmed with Joy not only because I am recognised but also by the show of love of travelling from Calabar to My Community Mkpani to present this award.
