The State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade has sent a list of 36 nominees to the House of Assembly for confirmation.  This brings the total number of nominees to 39 including the 3 nominees earlier screened by the House.

The 36 nominees are:

Earlier, the Clerk of the House, Barr Bassey Ekpenyong had presented a letter, signed by the Secretary to the State Government Barr. Tina Banku Agbor, requesting the Speaker and Members to grant the consequential confirmation of the nominees for appointment as Commissioners in the State Public Service.

The Speaker, Rt Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams who committed the list of nominees to the House Committee on Judiciary, Public Service Matters Public Petition and Conflict Resolution, promised a transparent screening exercise of the candidates.
