In recognition of the laudable nation-wide contributions by/Officers and Men of the Peace Corps of Nigeria in combating covid-19 pandemic, the FCT Minister has released loads of palliatives to FCT_COMMAND of the Corps to cushion the biting effects of the pandemic on Officers and Men of the Corps.
FCT Commandant, Dr. Edet Ekpenyong,
expressed his appreciation to the honourable Minister for his concern towards the well-being of Officers . He stated that the gesture will motivate the Corps to offer more voluntary services now and in the future.
Dr. Edet who coordinated distribution of the palliatives to Officers, ensured that the packages were distributed equitably to all.
Highlight of the gathering is the presentation of meritorious award and certificate to officers who show selfless and voluntary contribution in maintaining the Covid-19 lockdown order by the Federal Government.
