MORE IN SUPPORT OF PEACE CORPS BILL; A MONARCH'S PLEA TO THE PRESIDENT

 

In order to enhance transformation in the country, there is need for President Buhari to speedily give assent to the Peace Corps Bill on his table - HRH(Dr) J.D. Agba. 

 

The Peace Corps Bill has overtime gathered a lot of supporters. The Monarch HRH (Dr). J.D. Agba, who also is the Pro Chancellor of The Cross River University of Technology, Calabar in a courtesy visit paid to him by the Commandant of Peace Corps, Cross River State at Utugwang, expressed his optimism towards the President's approval of the bill. 

 

 He saw the body as an integral part for the nation's transformation and development. More so, he prayed for the peaceful co existence amongst Nigerians in every part of the country.

 

 The State Commandant, Dr. Okweche Dominic  who in turn appreciated the wise words of the monarch also conveyed the felicitation of the National Commandant, Amb.(Dr) Dickson A. O. Akoh. He applauded the effort of the monarch towards ensuring peaceful years of ruler ship on the throne and assured him that peace corps is more committed to the peace agenda which should span through all states of the federation than any other thing. Hence, Nigerians should feel Safe.
