The Cross River Visionary Youths have unanimously adopted Hon. Mike Etaba for second term come 2019. Cross River Visionary Youths, is an organized support group that aimed at encouraging good leadership in Cross River State with 3000 members across Obubra/ Etung Constituency. The adoption was made during the general congress organized by the members of Cross River Visionary Youths, held 20th march 2018, at Calabar, Cross River State. In his speech, the D.G. Mr. Eric expressed delight in the massive turnout of the members for the congress, describing it as a manifestation of support for Hon. Mike Etaba. He went ahead to thanked the members for keeping faith in Hon. Mike Etaba assuring them that for their solidarity, the Hon. shall continue to do more to ensure that the dividends of democracy are seen and felt by every Obubra/ Etung sons and daughters. Eric Azogor revealed that the essence of the congress was for the members of the group to call on Hon. Mike Etaba to re-contest for House of Rep. the Green Chamber. Adams Oyama pointed out clearly that the project and programmes the constituency has enjoyed from Hon. Mike, it behooves on the Obubra/Etung people to repose their trust in Hon. Mike in order for him to continue the good work in the constituency. “We have to accept to work with him. He has deepened the political landscape and given many of us the opportunity of working with him. We are happy and have called you all here to be witnesses to this endorsement event.” Adams Oyama added. In a loud voice the three thousand (3000) members lifted up their PVC and shouted, we are fully in support of Hon. Mike second term agenda, because of his good work he started in 2015 onto 2019. In conclusion the D.G. thanked Hon. Mike for coming at the right time His people needed His services and prayed God to continue to give him victory more especially for rendering support to schools.
