The prize presentation was jointly done yesterday, by the Commissioner for Information & Orientation, Mrs. RoseMary Effiom Archibong and her Health counterpart, Dr. Inyang Asibong on the “Good Morning Cross River” CRBC TV programme. Mrs. Archibong commended Ojeka for her persistent participation in the competition and eventual emergence as winner on her fourth attempt, adding that her resolve shows penchant for information, knowledge of government activities and projects. The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Inyang Asibong, praised Ojeka’s efforts in keeping tabs with activities of the Ayade-led administration, pointing out that it would serve as a nudge for Senator (Prof.) Ben Ayade to do more for the State. Dr. Asibong restated the present administration’s resolve to bring quality, affordable and accessible healthcare to Cross Riverians through the Cross River Health Insurance Scheme (AYADECARE), Calapharm and the AYADECARE Home Service.
She also thanked her Information and Orientation counterpart, Mrs. RoseMary Archibong for beaming the light towards government projects under her Ministry through the Info-Quiz Competition, describing the initiative as a “mirror of government activities to the society.” Receiving the N10, 000 cash prize, an elated Cynthia Ojeka thanked Mrs. Archibong for the opportunity to test her knowledge of government activities and governance in the State through the Info-Quiz Competition. She called on Governor Ayade to continue his industrialization drive of the State through palpable projects and programmes. The Commissioner for Information and Orientation used the occasion to present a surprise birthday cake to her health counterpart who was joined by the Information family to cut.
