The Commandant of Peace Corps of Nigeria, Cross River State Command Dr. Patriot Okweche Dominic, this morning after exercise led a delegation from the State Command on a visit to the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly at the House of Assembly Quarters Ekoriniem in Calabar.
According to the Commandant the visit was to extend a hand of friendship and wish the Speaker Happy New year.
Secondly to inform the Speaker, about the National Commandant's visit to the State and to solicit for the cooperation of the House of Assembly and the State Government during the period of the visit.
Okweche put on record that the Speaker's leadership has helped tremendously in stabilising the state.
Responding, the Speaker, Eteng Jonah Williams, thanked the State Commandant for lending out a hand of friendship while pledging the support of the House towards Peace Corps of Nigeria, Cross River State Command.
