CRGIA seeks AG's support for optimal performance
The Cross River Geographic Information Agency (CRGIA) has beseeched the support of the Accountant-General of the State, Sir Joseph Adie, to enhance actualization of the Agency's mandate.
The Director-General of CRGIA, Sir John Odo, made the plea recently during a courtesy call on the Accountant-General in his office in Calabar.
Sir Odo, who thanked the AG for his warm reception, stated that the visit was to establish synergy with the Accountant-General's Office, furnishing it with necessary information required for optimal performance and appeal for payment of a backlog of arrears of his Agency's staff.
In his remarks, the Accountant-General, Sir Joseph Adie, lauded the young and amiable DG for his vibrancy and hitting the ground running on assumption of office.
The AG urged the CRGIA Team to keep up the good work and also go ahead to introduce new innovations in order to excel.
Speaking further, Sir Adie expressed his Office's readiness to synergies with other government MDAs to increase productiveness, while assuring on speedy action to matters concerning CRGIA, on due approval by the appropriate authority.
