COVID 19: C/RIVER SPEAKER COMMENDS HEALTH WORKERS

The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams has applauded the efforts of the Health Workers across the Nation for their commitment to containing the COVID 19 pandemic.
Williams who made the commendation during plenary said, the Health workers have been in the front line of the fight against COVID 19 globally, adding some have even lost their lives.
He asked Members to give all Health Workers an applause as a sign of appreciation for their dedication to serving humanity.
Williams further led the Lawmakers to observe a minute silence in honour of all those who have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic and prayed God to grant their souls eternal rest
