My name is Eric Egbe Azogor Vying for the position of Director of Information under University of Calabar PGSG 2017/18.
If by the grace of God am elected the Director of Information I will create different platforms for easy dissemination of Information across borders, and in accordance to my huge experience for information management and control under MTN where I worked back in the days, I will develop different fundamental ways of managing and disseminating information to areas connected to PG which will be
(1) Blog
(2) SMS splash
(3) Group mailing
(4) Social media platforms etc
I will also develop means of working with article writers and editorial board members to further promote the quality of post graduate students in the University of Calabar, in collaboration with the PG article writers and editorial board members i will further organize seminars and intellectual activities in PG which will as a result enhance the avoidance of plagiarism in the University of Calabar and the academic institutions at large.
In summary I will make sure I consult the President and Secretary of PG before information is disseminated as well as protecting the information of PGSG from unauthorized access whether good or bad Information in other to protect the face of the PGSG at large through out my stay in the office as Director of Information.
