Biase Chairmanship Candidate, Hon Ada Charles leads Support Group to enforce no Mask no Movement Policy in Calabar Metropolis
The Chairmanship Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Biase Local Government Area, Hon. Ada Charles Egwu today led her BIASE IDEAL FAMILY support group to enforce the 'no mask, no movement policy of the State Governor, His Excellency,Sen (Prof) Ben Ayade in Calabar Metropolis.
Recall that Governor Ben Ayade had ordered a full enforcement of 'No Mask no Movement Policy' in a bid to curtail the spread of Convid 19 virus pandemic in Cross River State, following his resolve to ease some restrictions to allow economic activities to strive in the state.
The enforcement which was carried out along IBB Way and Stadium areas of the Metropolis was well attended by members of the BIASE IDEAL FAMILY which is the largest support group of the Hon Ada Charles Campaign Organisation with membership cutting across the 11 council wards of Biase lGA.
Hon. Ada expressed her satisfaction with the high level of compliance by motorists and commuters plying the route. Saying that Cross Riverians have keyed into the vision of Governor Ben Ayade led administration to kept the state free from from the Corona Virus pandemic.
The Biase LGA Chairman hopeful commend His Excellency for his proactive disposition and what she describes as a second to none approach to the management of the Convid 19 pandemic, whereby necessary medical equipment, political will, awareness campaigns and adequate logistics were being provided in lieu of any reported case of the virus. She further added that the Governor have been able to bring his vast experiences as a Professor of Science articulated with human sympathy and love for his people to bare in his fight against Coronona virus in Cross River State.
In the same vein, the Chairman of the BIASE IDEAL FAMILY support group, Hon. Ekuma Ngwu JP on behalf of the group use the opportunity to reiterate their approval and support to Hon. Ada Charles' candidacy assuring the Chairmanship hopeful on their commitment to support her at all times, before, during and after her tenure as Chairperson of Biase LGA.
Hon. Ngwu, also thank the Chairmanship hopeful and His Excellency the Deputy Governor, Prof Ivara Esu for equally providing adequate sensitization and awareness campaigns about Convid 19 virus in Biase LGA.
