Agara Christopher Agam, an embodiment of modern philanthropy, was born on the month of May 27, 1963. An indigene of Ikom Local Government Area in Central Senatorial District of Cross River State.
Faced with the challenge of his immediate environment characterized by poverty, Barr Chris Agam Agara forged himself ahead with the mindset of relentlessly surmounting these African known challenges that he was born to meet as a youth. It was his quest for the knowledge of how to solve this African inherent societal problem of poverty and want, that spurred him to enroll into the University, his belief even as a youth was that, to be able to solve societal problems you must educate yourself so as to answer the question about how the problem came up in the first place.
Barr Chris Agara studied Law at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RUST) as his first degree and became a lawyer par excellence. According to him, he chose law to enable him study the laws of the land in order to serve humanity by ensuring that people's friendly laws are made
He went further to clinch a Master Degree in Law (LLM) at the University of London on a full time course to enrich his already acquired knowledge in Law. Due to his passion for business and academics, Barr Chris Agara proceeded to obtain a PGD in Business Studies at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RUST) which gave him the opportunity to grab another Masters Degree in Business Administration (M. Sc) from the prestigious University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
He is a seasoned administrator, a business man and CEO of many outstanding companies in Nigeria and abroad such as;
the Garagam Nigeria Limited, TITAN projects (an Oil serving company),
AA universal (Agric base company) etc.
He is a philanthropist, politician, peace ambassador, president of various multipurpose cooperatives, a contractor, a Teacher and most importantly, a Christian. He is married with children.
As an eminent scholar, Chris Agara has several awards and certificates from both local and international conferences, workshops and seminars attended, with specific interest on leadership and public administrations. Events which have offered him a vast knowledge on leadership, in addition to his vast knowledge in the public and business sectors.
In his passion to serve humanity which happens to be his calling, Chris Agara has a scholarship scheme that has been running for several years, a scheme that was later capped THE GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME in his 50th birthday. An event which witnessed 50 indigent students benefiting from a full time scholarship that saw them through their stay in the university
There are also 200 indigent students in faculty of social sciences, university of calabar, currently enjoying a scholarship scheme from Chris Agara, that will see them through graduation. It will interest you to know that the students in question are not only indigenes of Cross River State but also from other States.
It will surprise you to know that Barr. Chris Agara does not take pleasure in publicizing his philanthropic gestures, reasons being that he is not doing it to gain favors from men, but from God who sees in secret and rewards in the open. However, it will interest you also to know that Chris Agara Esq, has more than 6 orphanage homes in Cross River State under his monthly payroll for over 20 years now. He also has a scheme for the physically challenge that has been running in the state for several years now. In his words, it is better to give help to those that cannot pay you back, and receive your reward from God, his delight is to redesign the future of the hopeless.
I can go on and on to elucidate what Chris Agara has been doing for his people, but even in weeks, I cannot finish outlining his philanthropic gestures toward the liberation of his people. Do I start from the relief materials he has been giving to crisis affected communities, recently being the one sent to war ravage communities in Yala LGA? the annual empowerment in form of wrappers, bags of rice and financial assistance send through the Catholic priests to widows across the state, that has been running for several years? or the daily financial assistance to people for house rents, hospital bills, children school fees, cars, etc.
No man can impact on the lives of the people like an employer of labour. Chris Agara Esq is an employer of over 300 people in his companies, with more still on the line. His company (AA UNIVERSAL) is partnering with the Cross River State Government for the construction of ultra-modern cocoa processing factory in ikom and the Rice Processing Mill in Ogoja. This partnership is perhaps another way of him giving back to the society
Chris Agara poses the mark of a true visionary. He imagines the future and act on it, yielding great results in the process and then using this success for the benefit of others. His astuteness, fecundity, capacity, profundity and sagacity can help central senatorial district from the quagmire she is presently confronted with.
The choice before the people of central is clear. They have to choose between the current order and people who brought nothing into politics, but are today swimming in stupendous wealth while majority of those who supported and voted them in are wallowing in grinding poverty.
Barr Chris Agam Agara is the man that can guarantee us the needed man power development, effective legislation, and infrastructural development in Central senatorial district at this trying times. All he needs from us is our undiluted support.

Chris Agara is a DEADBEAT Father, he gives his children crumbs, while he lives High on the Hog, he only thinks of himself while his children need and expect his guidance, he's absent and then disowns them when they don't please him, but he's never there to guide them and then wonders why they misbehave or disrespect him, just something to think about!!!
