“ WE ARE TALKING ABOUT DEVELOPMENT AND YOU PEOPLE ARE BUSY FIGHTING EACH OTHER, WHY?” Rt.Hon. Eteng Jones Williams, Member of Cross River State House of Assembly, representative of Yakurr11 Constituency In a media briefing held today, Wednesday 11th of April 2018 at Atekong drive has called on the people of Yakurr11 Constituency to shun war and destruction and prefer peace for positive development.
He said “ we are talking about development and you people are busy fighting each other, why? It is time for all sons and daughters of Yakurr11 to unite together for a common cause which is to ignite peace amongst themselves and aim for greater achievements. The people of Iyima, Oyeadama, Kepite communities all need to converge at a roundtable for dialogue, He urged them. I , Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams forbid war amongst us as the previous stopped our children from going to school, our women from going to farm and business people from making sales. This fighting, killings, destruction must stop, we need to project our name positively. Therefore, I charge all youths of my constituent to ignore the deceit offered by politicians and eager sponsors to endanger the safety of the people therein. As future leaders of tomorrow say no to their guns, don’t kill your brother instead embrace peace which will make Yakurr11 a unified and unbreakable entity- RT. HON. ETENG JONES WILLIAMS
