Breakingnews: CRUTECH Alumni Lagos State Chapter Elects first Female Chairperson; take a look at her Acceptance Speech



Inaugural Speech delivered by Comrade Edor Anastacia Bankpang on the Second State Executive Council of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Alumni Association, Lagos State Chapter held on Saturday 29th February 2020.

All Protocol Observed;

Today is a remarkable day in the history of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Alumni Association, Lagos State Chapter as she elects her first ever Female Chapter Chairperson.

We sincerely appreciate God Almighty for his Love, Grace, Favour and Prosperity which he has showered on CRUTECH Graduates especially those of Lagos State Chapter extraction through flourishing Businesses, Entrepreneurship and gainful employment in strategic sectors of the Economy.

I appreciate my family, friends, leaders, stakeholders and other well-wishers for their dedication and outstanding contributions in making me dogged, proactive, creative and innovative person. Your prayers and sincere support have led me thus far. 

My earnest gratitude goes to the National Executive council (NEC) and the Central Working Committee (CWC) of our great Alumni Association led by comrade Eyam Abeng. The exemplary leadership and Synergy have Positioned CRUTECH Alumni Association as one of the fastest growing Alumni in Nigeria.

Lagos State Chapter under my leadership will aggressively contribute to the ongoing CRUTECH Alumni Centre building project at Calabar and other Projects across our multiple campuses.

We will be vision driven to reposition the ideology of Lagos state chapter by embracing all graduates from different campuses, creat jobs placement, sustained and improve on the ongoing lofty initiatives and projects of the outgone State  and sustain the social interactive scheme that was initiated by  Executive Council (SEC) Lagos State Chapter

Further, my appreciation goes to Mrs. Urslar Okoro and Engr Kingsley Odok for their unquantifiable supports and prayers especially during the electioneering period.

We thank the outgone chairman and his Executives in person Comrade Gabriel Ucheche for his efforts in Lagos State Chapter. We shall ensure continuity of your good works.

We commend our amiable Electoral Committee Members led by Comrade Walter Nandi-Esom for their dedication and commitment towards conducting a free, fair and credible elections.

This Victory will not have been possible without the Support of #Team Visioners Campaign committee and our ardent supporters and electorates. We remain determined, unperturbed and unshakable as we plead to implement every of our manifestoes. we are open and receptive to new ideas and constructive criticism.

We will continue to ensure that member’s representation, welfare and job placement are placed as top priority and every member will be treated equally irrespective of their year of Graduation, Age, Gender, etc. Our Alma Mater good image will be uphold and every member will have that sense of belonging.

I hereby dissolved all standing committees and the electoral committee in line with our Constitution. Come! Let’s build the CRUTECH Alumni to an enviable height.
