AYADE FELICITATES WITH HAUSA COMMUNITY ; PROVIDES FREE HEALTH OUTREACH AND SHARES FOOD TO HAUSA COMMUNITY TO MARK EID MUBARAK!

As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts across the world to mark this year's Eid Mubarak, His Excellency, Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade represented by the Director General, Cross River State Primary Development Agency (CRSPHCDA), Dr Betta Edu has urged Hausa Muslim Community in Calabar to use the celebration to recommit themselves to proper guidance by God.
She made this known during the Visit to the Community were she met with Leaders of the Hausa Fulani Muslim Community, Alhaji Salisu Lawal in his Palace.
Speaking, Dr Betta Edu enjoined the Muslim faithful to model the virtues of sacrifice, peace, love and tolerance to each other as the true tenets of Islam and essence of the celebration.
"On behalf of his Excellency, I congratulate you for successfully completing the fast. His Excellency Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade is hopeful that you took out time to pray for Cross River State and for more dramatic progress across the State.
Dr Edu said she was here to celebrate Sallah with them by bringing items like drugs and free medical care to women and children in the community.
The DG said beyond the visitation she "sees Eid Mubarak as an opportunity for Muslims, and indeed all Nigerians, to demonstrate the spirit of caring and sharing among others.This, she believed, would "stand out as a shining example for the youth and children to follow in their relationships with other members of society."
Responding the Leader of Hausa and Fulani Muslim community in Calabar, Alhaji Salisu Lawal said the Hausa Community is solidly behind Ayade, the first Cross River State Governor to give appointment to people from Hausa Community and providing security and healthcare to them. He urged other Governors in Nigeria to emulate Senator Ben Ayade"s inclusive Governance and rapid development.
Also Speaking, Barr Musa A. Maigoro, Special Adviser to the Governor on Non-Indigene Affairs commended the Governor for his rapid developmental strides through his aggressive projects all over the state.
He lauded the DG for working assiduously to ensure that she assist vulnerable children and women access quality healthcare in Cross River State.
The DG used the opportunity to sensitize women and children about personal hygiene, hand washing, exclusive breastfeeding, food nutrition and keeping their environment clean to prevent malaria, Ebola and monkey pox, diarrhea and cholera amongst others.
The women leader, Maryam Ibrahim thanked Cross River State Government for what they have done to them by coming to celebrate Sallah in a very exceptional way through health education awareness and sharing of food together other items like drugs and hand sanitizers.
The Royal father was grateful to received Dr Betta Edu who she described as Iron Lady whose passion and dedication for quality result has change the face of primary healthcare in the State.
