OKANG COMMENDS MOI&O INFO-QUIZ INITIATIVE, AS EBRI EMERGES 13TH WINNER

The Commissioner for Youth & Sports Development, Comrade Asu Okang has commended the impact of the Ministry of Information and Orientation's Info-Quiz Competition in highlighting sector-by-sector strides of the Governor Ben Ayade's administration, as well as inciting citizens' participation in government's activities, projects and programmes.

Comrade Okang, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youths & Sports Development, Mrs. Nenka Takim, gave the commendation, recently, during the Info-Quiz prize presentation on "Good Morning Cross River" CRBC TV programme.

The Youth & Sports Development Boss said Info-Quiz, which centered this week on his Ministry, has in no small measure, plunged the masses in seeking for information on Governor Ayade's strides in sports development sector.

Presenting the prize to David Ebri, winner of this week's Info-Quiz Competition, Okang congratulated him for the interest shown in the goings-on in the Ayade-led administration and his concise and accurate answers which culminated in his eventual emergence as winner. He further encouraged Ebri to always maintain the attitude of keeping himself informed about issues of governance in the State and beyond.

Also speaking, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs. RoseMary Archibong, represented by the State Director of Information, Mrs. Paulyn Eba described Ebri as an ambassador of Governor Ayade's administration and prime example of a Cross River youth.

The Information and Orientation Commissioner reiterated her Ministry's resolve to getting the citizenry involved in activities of government through Info-Quiz Competition as well as eliciting participation from the masses.
Archibong called on Cross Riverians to keep tabs with activities, programmes and projects of the Ayade-led administration for the betterment of the State.

Receiving the cash prize of ten thousand naira, David Ebri; a final year student of Biochemistry at the University of Calabar, expressed delight in clinching the prize in his first attempt, adding that the money will go a long way in helping his academic pursuit.

Ebri hailed Governor Ben Ayade's administration for the trailblazing achievement recorded in his first term in office and veering the State into an industrial hub in the comity of Nigerian States.
