CALABAR SOUTH TAKES TURN ON INFOQUIZ, AS EKENG-ITA EMERGES WINNER

Mr. Eric Ekeng-Ita from Calabar South Local Government Area has emerged winner of the 12th edition of Infoquiz.

In this week's edition, the road infrastructural strides of Governor Ben Ayade-led administration were placed on the front burner.

Mr. Ekeng-Ita succinctly captured this in his answer, making specific reference to the construction of Boki East-West road and Boje Bridge, the Mfon-Okpoma-Imaje-Abuochiche-Obudu-Ranch road and the dualization of Yahe-Wanakom-Wanikande-Benue road.

Presenting the cash prize to the winner, the Commissioner for works Cross River State, Engr. Dan Osim-Asu hinted that more contracts for the construction of some rural roads in the State have just been awarded, adding that Governor Ben Ayade remains committed to developing efficient transport system that provides sustainable mobility in the context of progressive and competitive market economy.

He lauded the Ministry of Information and Orientation, under the resourceful leadership of Mrs. RoseMary Effiom Archibong, for the infoquiz initiative which according to him, 'is reawakening Cross Riverians' consciousness in participating in the political affairs and developmental projects currently undertaken by Governor Ben Ayade'.

In her remarks, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs. RoseMary Archibong stated that Governor Ben Ayade has proved skeptics wrong with his zealous, enterprising and mind blowing projects which abound across the State.

 'Governor Ayade's numerous projects scattered across the three senatorial districts of the State are there for all to see, the thing speaks for itself', she concluded.
The Information Commissioner then congratulated Mr. Ekeng Ita for emerging winner of this week's edition.
