Miss Ojeka Cynthia from Bekwarra Local Government Area has won the 14th edition of infoquiz for the second time.
This week's edition focused on the remarkable achievements of Governor Ben Ayade-led administration in the State's tourism sector.
Miss Ojeka summarily captured this in her answer where she particularly highlighted some of the new additions of the Carnival Calabar to include Bikers Carnival, the Miss Africa Beauty pageant and the Cross River State Northern festival (NORTHFEST).
Presenting the cash prize to the winner, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development, Mr. Eric Anderson noted that tourism in Cross River State has created job opportunities and increase income of small and large scale businesses.
He maintained that the administration of Prof. Ben Ayade remains committed to making Cross River the number one tourist destination for Nigerians and all over the world.
In her remarks, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs. RoseMary Archibong expressed delight that Cross Riverians were beginning to keep tap on government projects and policies through Infoquiz, adding that such interest in the affairs of the State will trigger government to do more.
