Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade on Insurance and Head of Cross River State Health Insurance Scheme Chief Godwin Iyala has congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his Eid-el-Fitri message signed by His head of Administration, the Special Adviser enjoined the Muslim faithful to sustain the spirit of godliness, charity, perseverance, and spiritual intercession for the nation.
According to him, the Ramadan offered the Muslim faithful another opportunity to shun evil for good; another opportunity for the faithfuls to remould and reshape their lives both physically and spiritually to meet with the aspirations of Allah as laid down in the Holy Qurân.
Having observed strictly the injunctions of Almighty Allah by self-denial through fasting and prayers and by offering Zakat to the underprivileged, the lessons learnt during the Holy month should not be lost. The S. A reminded them to take full advantage of the season by enrolling in the just launched Cross River State Health Insurance Scheme for just a token of thousand Naira as the scheme was open for all residents of Cross River State irrespective of tribe and religion.
He prayed that the blessings bestowed by Almighty Allah on believers through the Holy Month will abide with the faithful all through the year.
