ARCHIBONG LAUDS GOVERNOR AYADE’S REMARKABLE GOVERNANCE

By David Ejishie/Kingsley Agim

Cross River State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs. RoseMary Effiom Archibong has described Governor Ayade's three years in office as epochal, historical, purpose driven and an embodiment  of limitless opportunities.

Mrs. Archibong made the remarks during an interview with Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC 89.7 fm) Ikom.

She noted with admiration that Governor Ayade, rather than limit the capacity and performance of his administration due to paucity of funds, is thinking outside the box in his industrialization drive, as already seen in the ongoing gigantic projects, which ordinarily would have been impossible due to the  lean resources and dwindling federal allocation.

The Information and Orientation Boss highlighted that with the completion of some of the gigantic projects of Governor Ayade like the garment factory, the ongoing installation of equipments in Calapharm the  95 percent completed toothpick factory in Ekori, rice city, the Cocoa factory in Ikom, amongst other remarkable projects in the State, Governor Ayade has proved skeptics wrong.

Mrs. Archibong further stated that by not depending on the size of his pocket, the Governor has displayed high level of credibility, integrity and deep vision for the State.

On the recent endorsements by  Cross Riverians for Governor Ayade to contest the 2019 elections, Mrs. Archibong remarked that Governor  Ayade's second term endorsement by various groups and communities in the State is a manifestation of the remarkable governance witnessed in the State in the last three years.

She added that such clamoring for Governor Ayade to return to the Diamond Hill Government House, is an inspiration to the Governor to do more for the State.
