AYADE TO PROVIDE FREE VIEWING OF WORLD CUP COMPETITION AT STADIUM- Rt. Hon. Orok Duke
The Cross River State Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben. Ayade through the Chairman sports commission,Rt. Hon. Orok Duke conveyed his intention to provide a secured and conducive stadium for Cross Riverians to watch the upcoming world cup competition from June 14th to July 15th, 2018.
At a press briefing held today, 31st May, 2018, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke said that the stadium will be equipped with screens/ projectors, seats and tents capable of carrying over three thousand Cross Riverians comfortably.
Don't worry about security. The safety of Cross Riverians is our topmost concern and certainly, we will work with many security agencies to ensure no violence and harassments of citizens said Orok Duke.
Be expectant of a medical facility, well equipped by MTN alongside free WIFI within the period for the use of the masses. A cafeteria and rest room will be completed for the convenience of Cross Riverians within and after the period of competition - He added.
Owners of viewing centers should be clarified that the Government does not intend to intimidate them and their services but is simply reaching out to the masses in her own unique way by this gesture said Rt. Hon. Orok Duke.
