Bassey Inah Alleged Former Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Clement Ebri of Attempting Murder on Eteng Lekam Ikoi
On the 5th of may 2018 the All Progressive Congress (APC) held it annual Congress at Mkpani/Agoi Council ward to vote in a new representive of the party for the forth coming national Election at Abuja.
Hon. Bassey Inah, one time aspirant of Cross River State House of Assembly in the 2015 election and presently a Board Member of Federal psychiatric Hospital Kaduna on his Facebook page stated clearly that " the Vandalization of APC Secretariat, the destruction of Eteng Lekam Ikoi House Properties and also the attempted murder of Eteng Lekam Ikoi was masterminded and carried out by His Excellency Clement Ebri thugs as a result of his ambition of becoming the next APC National Chairman in the forth coming APC convention.
Mkpani/Agoi council ward was having a peaceful APC party until the arrival of Clement Ebri and Captain Eno Utum to the party and it is believed that the party had two factions, the Clement Ebri Camp and The Minister of Niger Delta Camp, Pastor Usani Usani.
Bassey Inah also described the action and act as a barbaric act because of Clement Ebri's unwavering interest on arrival.
Because of supremacy, Clement Ebri's Camp and Pastor Usani Usani Camp are fighting to produce the leaders of the party.
We condemn such party activities with strong terms.
Eno Okoko on a call nterview with detailingcrossriver confirmed that former Governor of Cross River State, Clement Ebri sent thugs to disorganize the Congress. Adding that Clement Ebri's coming to the party is to destroy the already led structure.
If a well respected man in the society can be sending thugs during common party Congress, that means during electioneering in 2019 many persons in PDP might be attacked.
Eno Okoko said that the incident has been reported to the police and that they await justice to take it's full cause.
