EKORI TOOTHPICK FACTORY TO BE COMMISSIONED NEXT WEEK

The site Manager of the Toothpick factory in Ekori, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State, Engr. Stephen takim has lauded Governor Ben Ayade's industrialization strides, describing such as beneficial to the State and the teeming youths.
Engr takim made the remarks when he conducted newsmen round the factory to assess the level of work done.
He disclosed that the factory has been completed and equipments are currently being installed, adding that the factory will be commissioned next week.
Explaining the toothpick technology to newsmen, Engr. Takim stated that the sophisticated equipments are capable of producing 20 metric tons per day.
He noted that when completed, the project will create jobs for Cross Riverians as well as decouple the State from reliance on federal allocation.
The factory is one of the numerous industrialization drive embarked upon by the Sen. Ben Ayade-led administration.
